This Privacy Policy explains how Cushy Rider, a trading name of THG GLOBAL LLC (a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, USA, principal office 412 W 7th St, STE 1130, Clovis, NM 88101, USA), collects and uses your personal data when you visit cushyrider.co.uk or buy from us. For the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, THG GLOBAL LLC is the data controller. Contact: support@cushyrider.co.uk.

1. What we collect

  • Order and contact details: name, email, phone, billing and delivery address, items ordered, order history and messages you send us (for example, a Comfort Guarantee claim or size swap).
  • Payment details: handled by Shopify Payments and other providers shown at checkout. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser, device, pages viewed and approximate location (country), collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Marketing preferences: whether you have signed up to our emails.

2. Why we use it, and our legal basis

  • To process and deliver your order, handle refunds, size swaps and guarantee claims (performance of a contract).
  • To provide customer support (contract and legitimate interests).
  • To prevent fraud and keep the site secure (legitimate interests and legal obligation).
  • To keep tax and accounting records (legal obligation).
  • To send marketing emails (consent; you can unsubscribe at any time).
  • To measure and improve our site and adverts using analytics and advertising cookies such as Google and Meta (consent, given through our cookie banner).

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with: Shopify (our e-commerce platform); payment providers; our fulfilment partners and delivery carriers (name, address and phone, to ship your order); email and customer-support tools; analytics and advertising partners such as Google and Meta (only with your consent); and authorities where the law requires it.

4. International transfers

We are based in the USA and our service providers may process data in the USA and other countries. Where data leaves the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

5. How long we keep it

Order and transaction records: up to 6 years (tax and accounting). Support messages: up to 2 years after your last contact. Marketing data: until you unsubscribe. Cookie data: as set out in our cookie banner.

6. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to run the shop and checkout. Analytics and advertising cookies are only set if you accept them in our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time using the Your Privacy Choices page.

7. Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to our use of it (including direct marketing), receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Email support@cushyrider.co.uk with the subject line "Privacy request". We reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, or to your local data protection authority.

8. Security

Our site uses SSL encryption and payments are processed to PCI-DSS standards. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data and will notify you and the regulator of any breach where the law requires.

9. Children

Our shop is not aimed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The latest version is always on this page, with the date at the top.
